Tellurex’s expertise in power generation applications led to the engineering of a montoring device that could function in remote locations. This application required engineering both the catalytic combustion system and a custom Z-Max module.

The module needed to generate electricity from gas combustion and be able to withstand wide temperature swings in extreme environments. The custom Z-Max module easily handles both.

Today, Tellurex offers four standard power generation modules to fit a much wider variety of applications. With the capability to generate power for electronic controls and instrumentation, there is a growing interest in capturing waste heat to generate electricity.

A demonstration power generator was designed and produced 25 Watts of continuous power for a major military supplier.
