Interpreting the Power Generation Module Graphs

Back to Power Generation Modules

1. Once you find the graph which shows your expected temperatures for THOT and TCOLD, locate the resistance of your electrical load on the X axis,

2. Read the corresponding points on the lines for load voltage, current, and power. Note that the vertical scales for current and power, are located on the right-hand side of the graph.

Observe that, unless a regulating circuit is employed (see FAQ on Power Generation), load voltage, current, and power will all vary as load resistance fluctuates.
