Tellurex
Thermoelectric Commercial Generators
Tellurex is currently working on two thermoelectric projects for the US Military, both in collaboration with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory:
- Co-functional Power/Cooling: A project for the US Army to develop a 50 to 100W waste heat recovery module for co-functional power/cooling systems. This project is the driving force behind the intermediate power generation products to be commercialized by Tellurex in 2010.
- Waste Heat Power Generation with a battlefield diesel generator: A Strategic Environmental Research and Development Program (SERDP) to produce a Thermal Electric Generator (TEG) capable of generating 1.6 kW of power by converting waste heat from a tactical quiet generator. This project is expected to run through the middle of 2010 and utilizes completely new power generation materials developed by Tellurex.
The objective of this thermoelectric research is to create technology transfer applications that will provide powerful leadership to US manufacturing firms. Please contact our engineering and sales center for more information about this opportunity.
