The hottest (and coldest!) innovation to hit the automotive scene is the Thermoelectric Cupholder Module (TCM) from Tellurex. It’s probably the first interior feature to deliver a “wow” factor in new vehicles since the introduction of power lumbar seats. Some automotive writers have written that it’s the best reason to buy some particular models. Others want one for their desk.

Chrysler offers the TCM in their Sebring and Avenger models for 2007, and the Sebring received the “Best Cup Holder” award at the prestigious Ward’s Automotive Group “Interior of the Year” competition.
