Tellurex

Thermoelectric Knowledge Center

Working in fully integrated R&D and manufacturing facilities in Traverse City, Michigan, Tellurex delivers high performance thermoelectric products to both large and small volume customers. Our thermoelectric knowledge center benefits from our association with Michigan's 315 global automotive R&D, engineering, and tech centers with combined expenditures that top $10 billion annually, more than all the other 49 states combined. We also contribute to Michigan's key role as a defense research center, with a rich heritage of innovation that reaches back one hundred years.

To support this demand for applied thermoelectric science, Tellurex is proud to have a growing list of research partners, including:

  • Pacific Northwestern National Laboratory
  • Michigan State University
  • Northwestern University
  • Michigan Technological University
  • University of Michigan

In this highly generative business and intellectual climate, Tellurex has established itself as the performance leader in thermoelectric technology and engineering design, integrating its activities from the laboratory through the production line, and from basic earth elements through finished thermoelectric modules in a variety of configurations.

Tellurex performs primary research in chemical metallurgy in collaboration with major universities. This is often underwritten by government grants, and we transfer laboratory advances into production-ready products using our unique manufacturing processes for our thermoelectric products. Tellurex holds patents on our proprietary materials, processes and products and exclusive worldwide licenses for the technology of our research collaborators.

Tellurex has the manufacturing capacity and global sourcing, experience and resources, to originate and perfect new uses of our proprietary materials and methods. We welcome the opportunity to pursue a working relationship with your company to ensure the success of your thermoelectric concept.
